no "pick- me- ups" today

Sometimes, some things happens for a reason
Sometimes, some things happens for no apparent reason.
*sigh* It's one of those times where things happen for no apparent reason, and I'm not pretty happy about it, but I guess I just have to live with it for the time being.

looking for a calm day

With all the things happening around me ... I'm looking for a some resolution...*sigh* and I'm hoping to get some resolution very very soon.. :( *sigh* lets not ponder too much on the issue... Better to let it go with the flow....

On my way to work today.. a certain song was played on the radio. This song brings alot of wonderful thoughts, I was about to tear when a particular part was being sung..

"Romeo save me, I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head, I don't know what to think
He knealt to the ground and pulled out a ring
and said:
Marry me Juliet, you'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all i really know
I talked to your dad , go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes"

-Taylor swift, love story-

I guess I'm just feeling a little down, but lets hope somewhere during the day, a ray of sunlight might just shine down..

road trip

Happy monday... :)

our weekend has been quite a busy one. We travelled south to JB, with my parents to visit my grandma. Left in the morning, spend a few hours there, then left during the evening. The little one went along with us. It was more of a family road trip. It was indeed a really nice journey. To me, the trip up to JB was very very heart warming. To see my grandma look at Aidan, makes my heart want to cry. My Grandma is currently bedridden, as she had a minor stroke. To see her react to my little one... makes tears well up in my eyes. Like what my mom said to aidan boy ..." you're an angel" and in some terms it is very true. The little fella is the joy and apple of everyone's eyes.. he makes people around him, forget their troubles and worries. He gives out the feeling of happiness, and i am glad this little happiness is mine. :)

As for our japanese buffet outing, well we canceled it as the whole place was fully reserved. But then it's alright... we've other times to pop by. :)

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and his year would be Aidan's first Chinese New Year. Last year he was still happily swimming around in my tummy. :) So we've started to get his Chinese New Year outfit ready. I wanted to get him the little chinese costumes... but the little one is still too little to fit in it. So he'll just have to wear the cute little boy's shirts.. :) we've also been trying to teach him to do the "gong xi fa chai" gestures... but the little one is a little mischievous... and claps his hands instead.

Anyways... HAPPY MONDAY everyone.. :)

the weekend arrives!

The week has been a very very slow week, and with the weekend a few hours away... i'm looking forward to the weekend. With a wee bit of traveling in our schedules..,an unconfirmed Japanese feast..., the weekend with the hubby and the little one... :) sounds so exciting and so fulfilling.. :)
With all the working, i really look forward to weekends. It's one of those days where i can sit back, relax, do some baking, do some card designing, spend time with my love ones.. :) though sometimes the weekend can be exhausting...it's still is a pick-me-up.... :) I guess that's the perks of working, coz then you look forward to exciting things during the weekend...*hugs*

anyways... Happy weekend to all of you.. enjoy your weekend with all your love ones... :) coz i would be.. :)

it's the middle of the week

It's Wednesday already and with a few more blinks it would be Aidan's 10th month. I'm just so in love with the little fella, even though he makes a whole load of noise. :) I'm actually thinking of a birthday theme for the little one... any suggestions or ideas?

2008 has been a wonderful year... the arrival of the little one has been one of the greatest gift that we have had... and being parents for the first time has been an experience that we've never felt before... Aidan is now about 9 months plus.. and would be turning 10 months before Chinese New Year... to see him grow has been such a wonderful feeling.. he's already making his first few steps...and we are hoping 2009 would be a great year as well... with Chinese New Year around the corner.... and little Aidan's first birthday in march.... well we've got a lot in store for us.
With 2009 just beginning.. the year ahead of us is very much uncertain... with all the economy turmoil... well... we'll brace thru it....Happy 2009 to everyone.. :)
